On October 29, 2008, Choice Home Health, Inc. and Choice Hospice, Inc. will be going Passionately Pink for the Cure to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer. It's passionate, because the need to end breast cancer is so urgent. It's pink, because that's the color we'll wear to accomplish our goal. Jars of candy are being distributed among metro area businesses encouraging local public to make donations to The Susan G. Komen for the Cure campaign. And, on October 29th, the employees of Choice will celebrate "The Cause" by wearing pink and showing our true colors by going Passionately Pink for the Cure and becoming official "Passionistas". The website for online donations is Susan G Komen

Choice Home Health and Hospice Team is participating in Oklahoma City's "This City is Going on a Diet" program. Several of our staff members have started their own weight loss team program by exercising during their lunch time each day. Monday mornings are accompanied by the usual chat of the previous weekend, but now it is a-buzz with weight loss talk.....or gain! So far, the Choice Home Health and Hospice team has lost over 60 pounds.

Choice Home Health and Hospice teamed up with Oklahoma Blood Institute on Friday, April 4th for a very successful blood drive. Choice's Susan Crosby, RN for Choice, was on site to ensure the line of employees flowed smoothly, with employees from Choice, St. Anthony's Dr. Randy Morgan's office, Majors Medical, Legacy Engineers, Oak Patch Product Development, US Military, friends and family for a total of 32 donors. The line-up to the OBI bus started at 11:00 am, the pizza arrived at 11:05 am, and the drive finally ended at 4:00 pm. Dee Josey-Burleson, Blood Program Consultant for OBI stated that donors may give up to 6 times per year. A huge "thank you" to all those who participated and to those who tried to participate in "giving hope, health & healing to someone in need."
